100 Movies of the 1990`s

The last decade of the twentieth century found cinema looking both forward and back, at times almost preoccupied with its own history as a medium. This survey reviews the era's most significant films from 1991 to 2000, from the sweep of The English Patient to the disaster spectacle of Titanic and the sharp comedy of There's Something About Mary. Each film's story and style are set out clearly, alongside commentary on the actors, directors and historical or technical details behind them.
