A Miraculous Rendering on the Bhagwat Geeta by Sant Dnyaneshwar

At eighteen, Sant Dnyaneshwar narrated nine thousand verses on the Bhagwat Geeta. Writing in the language of the masses of 13th-century Maharashtra, he turned the Geeta into an enchanting masterpiece that speaks to the heart as much as the reason, touching on history, tradition and the nature of God. At its centre lies a reminder that karma, duty and responsibility are not incidental to life but essential to it.
