Epic Tales Japanese Myths & Tales

From the creation myth of Izanagi and Izanami, said to explain the origins of the islands of Japan, to the hundreds of kami and monsters who populate the tales that follow, this collection gathers legends that tell the story of the land, the people and the divine heritage of Japan's emperors. Part of Flame Tree's Gothic Fantasy series, it looks to the ancient, epic roots from which so much modern fantasy has grown.
