Sense & Sensibility

Elinor and Marianne Dashwood could hardly be more different: one guided by sense and restraint, the other by feeling and impulse. As the sisters face questions of love, money and the expectations placed on women of their time, their contrasting natures are tested again and again. Jane Austen's classic is a witty, perceptive look at romance and propriety, and at the sisterhood that holds steady through both.
