Valmiki`s Ramayana for Early Readers Vol. 2

This second volume picks up as Rama and Lakshmana set out to rescue Sita from the demon-king Ravana, joined by the monkey-king Sugriva and his army, led by the loyal Hanuman. Their journey leads to a fierce battle, after which Rama returns home to rule his kingdom alongside Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman. Told through Sunita Pant Bansal's simplified retelling for young readers, the story uses free-flowing, colourful illustrations with the main characters shown pictorially throughout, so children can follow along by recognising the pictures as they read. Together with Volume 1, this completes a gentle introduction to the Ramayana for early readers.
